In this guide we will be giving you advice on how best to secure your Snownode Minecraft java server.
Step 1.
Enable the whitelist by go to the console and typing this command whitelist on and click enter to send the command.
Step 2.
Now that the whitelist is active you will need to add the players you want to be able to join the server using the command whitelist add playername.
You need to repeat this for every player you want to be able to join the Minecraft server.
Step 3.
Use an account authentication plugin such as authme or Nlogin. This will prompt the player joining to enter a password that they will set on first join.

Step 4.
Use an anti grief plugin or permission plugins such as core protect or luckperms.

Step 5.
Keep regular/ make regular backups of your servers files!
